Welcome to
St Barnabas’ web page

St Barnabas’ Church was built in the 1950’s and continues to be a part of the Parish Church of St Clement (CofE) as a worship and community facility for the people of the estates off Hardy Lane and Darley Avenue. The service time and the various regular activities which take place at St Barnabas’ are listed below

St Barnabas’ is on the corner of Hardy Lane and Husrtville Road. It is a flexible building and is available for hire, particularly in the day time hours and at weekends. It can be used for classes, children’s parties, community meetings and more. If you would like to hire St Barnabas’, then please get in touch.

Philip Gay, Church Army Captain, is the minister and point of contact for St Barnabas’ (see below). Captain Philip is a Lay Minister who works with the priests from St Clement’s. His work focuses on the estates off Darley Avenue and Hardy Lane. Captain Philip, along with the Reverend Hilary Barber and the Reverend Ian Delinger, is always glad to hear from you, whether for a friendly chat, pastoral support, or spiritual guidance.

We are an Anglican Church, worshipping God for ourselves and others, seeking wholeness for all through Christ.
